God has been active in the recent months calling me to help in Children’s ministry. I can’t explain except, they needed help, I felt led. As with previous walks over the years, God lays a saying on my heart and a theme verse. As of this typing, he has not revealed what I’m supposed to do.
It’s Matthew 6:33
“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”.
The saying
Lead more by example, less by opinion. Share wisdom when the opportunity arises.
As he has done in the past, a challenge or journey will arise. I don’t know the details and I just wait. I felt like typing this out to share, not sure how many will view my post. My hope if you were led to read this blog post, it’ll show you something in your walk. I had wrote the story called Yearns I found Isaiah 62 explains in God’s word the yearning for Jerusalem is biblical.
As far as the saying, I’ve always felt if something needed to be said, I would say it. This particular saying gave me a peace I’ve not felt. I don’t have to be THAT PERSON rather let my actions speak louder than words ever could. For Schofield’s, it comes so naturally. With each poem God blesses me with, I’m reminded the sharpness our tongues can have. Knowing God reveals this saying to me, he is definitely help refine my words to be more Honey than Vinegar.
Stay tuned and I’m sure God has already this planned out.
God Bless,
Steve
